Status and meaning

Editorial status. Not reviewed by an editor. An exploratory record that no editor has accepted. This status does not say whether a person has read any linked passage. Each evidence record above shows how it was checked.

Relation. Participation in founding an organisation or research team. Neither sole founding nor legal incorporation is implied.

Date. Founding year as Isomorphic Labs states it: its January 2026 release says the company "was founded in 2021" (recorded separately); the 7 January 2024 release cited here says it "was launched from Alphabet’s DeepMind in 2021" and gives no date of Hassabis's participation. The record is not dated by the release.
