Provision Threshold or trigger · provision ID omni-high-risk-dates-of-application Subject version As published in the Official Journal (24 July 2026) · Published 2026-07-24 · Effective 2026-07-27 Date 2026-07-24 · publication Scope and limits These dates concern high-risk AI systems, not the obligations of general-purpose AI model providers in Chapter V. The same point (40) replaces point (a) and adds point (d); the inspected amending text contains no amendment of point (b), the Chapter V date. This record shows that the AI Act’s dates were amended in 2026 and which dates changed; it does not show that Chapter V dates are unchanged beyond the inspected amending text.

Not reviewed by an editor . An exploratory record that no editor has accepted. This status does not say whether a person has read any linked passage. Each evidence record above shows how it was checked.
Relation. An exact framework edition states one provision: a capability threshold or risk level and its trigger, a required safeguard or action, a decision authority (who decides, recommends, can overrule or is informed), or a stated exception. The quoted text records what the edition says, not implementation, compliance or effectiveness. Provisions with the same key align across editions of one family.
Date. Provision as published in the Official Journal on 2026-07-24 (the Regulation is dated 8 July 2026); the Regulation enters into force on 2026-07-27.
