Scope and limitsAn attributed statement. Dechter's use is in another sense (search, not neural networks), recorded separately. The same author's 2014 overview gives a different account, which dates the expression to around 2006; that account is recorded separately, as the overview’s citation of a 2006 paper, and the two are not resolved.
