Check notes: Candidate pack passage, lab genealogy 2 (research/lab-genealogy-2). The paraphrase’s verbatim anchor “A Google DeepMind spokesperson confirmed Silver's departure in an emailed statement to Fortune” matched the retrieved text on 2026-10-29 and again in a fresh retrieval. Read directly from the publisher. Matching ignored differences of whitespace, case, quotation marks, apostrophes, dashes and Unicode compatibility forms, so the source’s typography can differ. The paraphrase is Selekoa’s; only the anchor is the source’s wording. A cross-family machine check (2026-10-31, item L162) re-read the record’s sources. No human editorial review.
