Version: Retrieved for the candidate pack on 2026-11-02 (SHA-256 442c51972233f13b644d8d5eaffd42e74b5bc3d2864ff52a00fbd788f4bee74a) directly from the publisher’s host. Retrieved again on 2026-11-03 with the same SHA-256. MODEL_CARD.md at commit 1f9a8d774a10fbe41321e530428e91f7eb7eb822 (2024-03-23), the latest commit touching the file. The Llama 2 text replaced the LLaMA card at this path in commit 6d4c0c290aeec1fa4399694fefb864be5a153bb6 (2023-07-18); later commits (2023-07-21, 2023-09-20, 2023-10-14, 2024-03-23) are wording changes (for example 'Content Length' to 'Context Length', the out-of-scope language note).

Check notes: Candidate pack passage, model cards compared (research/model-cards). The quotation (12 words) matched the card’s text retrieved for the candidate pack on 2026-11-02 (SHA-256 442c51972233f13b644d8d5eaffd42e74b5bc3d2864ff52a00fbd788f4bee74a) and again on 2026-11-03 in a fresh retrieval with the same SHA-256. Matching ignored differences of whitespace, case, quotation marks, dashes, PDF line-break hyphens and Unicode compatibility forms, so the source’s typography can differ. No human editorial review.

Status and meaning

Editorial status. Machine-checked. Machines found this record and checked it against its sources; no person accepted it individually. Each evidence record above shows how it was checked.

Relation. Publication of a specific document or version. Publication of a policy is not evidence of implementation.

Date. The card prints no date of its own, so no date of the card is recorded. Repository commit dates date changes to the file, not the card.
